Hmm, looking at the log of the failed haswell build, it may have the same issue as the a64fx build...

Tried an interactive Haswell build, but I get segfaults for different crates (signal: 11, SIGSEGV: invalid memory reference). That reminded me of:
https://gitlab.com/eessi/support/-/work_items/270
Seems like the same thing again, and we didn't find a solution for this yet...

Ah uv is a CargoPythonPackage directly while in uv-build it is an extension of a CargoPythonBundle have to modify it to run in both cases

@Neves-P Updated the hook and tested it on the build cluster also on top of this PR.

Just needed to run it also in on the configure step and no only on extension specific steps, but took me a while to manually test

Actually maturin is also building a lot of crates but did not fail here before and also show no failures in my rebuild (it also gets the retry loop since it is a CargoPythonPackage). Not sure if the creates being build in UV are just more flaky or if maturin is doing something that makes this pop up (at all or just more)
