What USD8 is

USD8 is a stablecoin minted 1:1 against USDC through the USD8 Treasury and redeemed against the same USDC reserve. Holders get free DeFi hack cover built in: their onchain usage of vetted protocols becomes coverage automatically (up to 80% of hack losses), backed by onchain Cover Pools. Supply comes from deposits rather than trading, so DEX volume is low by design.

Why

USD8 holders don't see their balance in MetaMask unless they import the token manually: https://token.api.cx.metamask.io/token/1?address=0x2fE01f5E235eeaB9045066f873f531dE20f31947 currently lists only the dynamic aggregator. This adds the canonical name, symbol and icon.
