Use the indexer's dedicated LayerNorm epsilon of 1e-6 and retain MoE correction bias in FP32 through checkpoint loading and TP/EP routing. For GLM mHC, normalize activations in FP32 before the mapping projection, using an IEEE FP32 Triton path independent of global TF32 settings. Keep pre coefficients in FP32 and round post/residual coefficients to the activation dtype before mixing. Preserve the existing fused FP32 post accumulation and the legacy default path for other model families. Add 11 CUDA regression cases covering actual GLM callers, pooled-indexer selection, TP/EP routing, projection order and coefficient rounding, including negative controls that reproduce the old numerical behavior. Validation: Python 3.10 syntax/bytecode, line-width and whitespace checks, independent source review, and CPU numerical counterexamples passed. CUDA kernel compilation, GPU accuracy tests and latency measurements remain pending because the requested GPU host was unreachable from the authoring environment. No bitwise equivalence across reduction backends or native versus fused post-mixing implementations is claimed.
Round the GLM residual mix to the activation dtype before post expansion, matching the default compiled native training path. Preserve the existing fused path for other models. Account for two BF16 rounding steps after FP32 reduction differences, add a strict 3073-token FP32 projection check and another seed, and retain negative controls. Trim redundant test work and comments. Validation: all 24 mHC and GLM precision cases passed on H200 in bsh_dsv4; syntax and whitespace checks passed.

🚀 Performance & Scalability | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Remove the batch-dependent tl.constexpr parameters so the kernels do not recompile for every token count.
Triton compiles a new specialization for each distinct value of a tl.constexpr argument.
_multiply_rowsdeclaresROWS: tl.constexpr. The caller sets it toweights.numel(), which is the token count timestopkin TP, or the expanded chunk row count in EP prefill. The kernel body never readsROWS._sort_tp_weightsdeclaresSTRIDE: tl.constexpr. The caller sets it toexpert_weights.stride(0), which equalstopk * tokens_in_chunk.
Both values change with the batch. With glm5_numerics=True, each new prefill token count therefore triggers a new JIT compile on the request path. Each compile takes hundreds of milliseconds, and the specialization cache grows without a bound. Pass ROWS and STRIDE as ordinary runtime integers, or remove ROWS. COLS and BLOCK can stay constexpr because they do not change with the batch.

Add hardware and DeepGEMM skip conditions to the module guard.
The module only checks torch.cuda.is_available(). Some cases have stricter requirements:
test_tp_moe_routes_before_w2_with_tma_sorting_and_shared_expert[tma=True]makesgrouped_matmulbuildTensorDescriptorobjects, which need SM90 or newer.- The FP8 cases need FP8-capable hardware.
test_ep_decode_dispatch_to_combine_weights_exactly_oncecallsmasked_group_gemm, which raisesRuntimeErrorwhenep.HAS_DEEPGEMMis false.
On CUDA machines that lack these features, the tests fail instead of being skipped. Add per-test skip conditions, as test_deepgemm_activation.py already does.

Run Black on all touched files. The pre-commit job fails.
The black hook reformatted indexer.py. It did the same for kpool.py, test_kernels.py, index_bf16.py, and test_indexer_bf16.py. The CI step fails until the formatted output is committed.
Lines 69-71 are a likely cause in this file. The call is exactly 120 columns when joined. It has no magic trailing comma, so Black collapses it to one line. This assumes a 120-column limit, which I inferred from other lines in the file and did not confirm in the repository config.

GLM-5.3-Flash inference needs independent controls for activation-scale rounding and indexer precision when diagnosing accuracy loss. This PR preserves the FFN execution order and provides controlled A/B options for prefill TP8 / decode DP16-EP16.
Activation scale control (
LIGHTLLM_ACTIVATION_SCALE_FORMAT, defaultauto):autofp32ue8m0This covers Triton TP W13/W2, DeepEP prefill quantization, both decode dispatch entry points, contiguous/masked W2 quantization, DeepGEMM linear layers, and the fallback block-FP8 linear path. Activations remain FP8. Checkpoint weights, weight scales/packing, and 1x128 activation grouping are preserved; no checkpoint conversion is required. Set the desired mode on all P/D workers. Continuous FP32 activation scales are supported for the intended Hopper deployment; packed DeepGEMM/mega-MoE backends that require UE8M0 reject an incompatible override explicitly.
Indexer control (
LIGHTLLM_GLM5_INDEXER_BF16, default0):0: existing rotated FP8 Q/K, pooled cache and FP8 scoring.1: unrotated BF16 Q/K and pooled-K cache, with IEEE FP32 QK/ReLU/weighted-head scoring for both prefill and decode. Ragged batches, MTP, HOLD rows and the 64 MiB logits chunk budget are supported. The activation-scale switch is independent of this indexer switch. Existing indexer projection and pooling arithmetic is retained for the ablation; full training-formula alignment is outside this change. Model weights and main-attention KV precision are unchanged.
Deployment: use commit
bb6833d2on both P and D. BF16 indexer mode requires--data_type bfloat16, the same mode on every P/D worker, and fresh caches: packed cache width changes from 584 to 640 BF16 elements (112 extra bytes per token per sparse-attention layer), including CPU cache and P/D transfer pages. The FP32 indexer scorer is intended for precision evaluation; throughput parity is not claimed.Validation: the latest update passed 410 tests on an isolated H200. Tests cover the mode override with UE8M0 model configuration, exact weight/scale preservation across mode changes, real Triton TP W13/W2 including fused shared experts and packed weights, real DeepGEMM linear/contiguous/masked kernels, decode dispatch flags for regular and overlap entry points, ordinary-scale fallback, retained mHC, and indexer numerics. DeepEP/NCCL transport is simulated in dispatch fixtures.
The preceding indexer update passed 348 tests, including FP64-oracle scoring through 262,144 pools (1M-token capacity), full indexer forward, causal masks, CUDA graph replay, MTP rewind/HOLD, CPU cache and TP8-to-TP1 P/D cache-copy fixtures. Physical multi-node transport, throughput, and full-model task accuracy have not been evaluated. Production services were left running unchanged.
