Dependencies (Cargo.lock), all building and testing on Rust 1.85: - anyhow 1.0.97 -> 1.0.104 (RUSTSEC-2026-0190) - h2 0.4.8 -> 0.4.20 (RUSTSEC-2026-0258, GHSA-q83h-524g-xf6h) - libz-sys 1.1.22 -> 1.1.31 (RUSTSEC-2026-0418, GHSA-8p3x-q3q3-q3v5) - tokio 1.46.1 -> 1.51.6 (RUSTSEC-2026-0386), 1.51 LTS line. tokio-macros is held at 2.7.1 (2.7.2 would add syn 3). This moves mio 1.0.3 -> 1.2.4, libc 0.2.174 -> 0.2.191, adds socket2 0.6.5, windows-sys 0.61.2 and windows-link 0.2.1, and drops backtrace and its dependencies (addr2line, gimli, object, miniz_oxide, adler2, rustc-demangle) and io-uring. - Regenerate dist-material/LICENSE with license-eye accordingly. E2E Python harness (uv.lock, no pyproject.toml change): - certifi 2025.1.31 -> 2026.10.23 (GHSA-6q48-6c7w-9gw2) - idna 3.10 -> 3.20 (GHSA-65pc-fj4g-8rjx) - protobuf 5.29.4 -> 5.29.6 (GHSA-8qvm-5x2c-j2w7, GHSA-7gcm-g887-7qv7) - requests 2.32.3 -> 2.34.2 (GHSA-9hjg-9r4m-mvj7, GHSA-gc5v-m9x4-r6x2) - setuptools 78.1.0 -> 84.2.1 (GHSA-5rjg-fvgr-3xxf, GHSA-h35f-9h28-mq5c, GHSA-xmj3-9gf7-h52w) - urllib3 2.3.0 -> 2.8.0 (GHSA-pq67-6m6q-mj2v, GHSA-48p4-8xcf-vxj5, GHSA-gm62-xv2j-4w53, GHSA-2xpw-w6gg-jr37, GHSA-38jv-5279-wg99, GHSA-qccp-gfcp-xxvc, GHSA-8988-9cw3-xx77, GHSA-vxq7-64xx-v4gw) time stays at 0.3.41: its fix (0.3.47) requires Rust 1.88, above the project's rust-version / pinned toolchain 1.85.

Dependencies
Cargo.lock
All bumps build and test on the project's MSRV / pinned toolchain, Rust 1.85.
Side effects of the tokio bump: tokio-macros 2.5.0 -> 2.7.1 (held below 2.7.2, which would pull in syn 3), mio 1.0.3 -> 1.2.4, libc 0.2.174 -> 0.2.191, new socket2 0.6.5, windows-sys 0.61.2 and windows-link 0.2.1. backtrace and its dependencies (addr2line, gimli, object, miniz_oxide, adler2, rustc-demangle) and io-uring drop out of the lock.
uv.lock (E2E Python harness)
Only the lock file changes; pyproject.toml floors are unchanged.
protobuf stays on 5.29.x (grpcio-tools 1.71 requires protobuf < 6). setuptools 84 no longer ships pkg_resources; grpcio-tools 1.71 and apache-skywalking 1.1.0 only import it on Python < 3.9 / < 3.8, and the harness requires Python >= 3.12. The lock was written with uv 0.5.31 so the file format is unchanged; uv 0.11 accepts it with
uv sync --locked.Manifests touched:
Cargo.lock,uv.lock,dist-material/LICENSE.GitHub Actions
No changes.

Not used by this repo (E2E runs through
docker composeande2e/run_e2e.py). E2E passes on master.License
dist-material/LICENSEregenerated with license-eye v0.9.0 (a196742f), the same command CI runs:license-eye dependency resolve --summary ./dist-material/LICENSE.tpl -c .github/licenserc.yaml. A run on unmodified master produced no diff. On this branch it updates the bumped versions, adds socket2 0.6.5, windows-sys 0.61.2 and windows-link 0.2.1, and removes the dropped crates (including the now-empty 0BSD and Zlib groups). All added crates are Apache-2.0 OR MIT.Verified locally
