Bump databricks-sql-connector to 4.8.0. Release notes cover the SQL Kernel 1.3.0 security upgrade, locked Black/certifi security updates, and the duplicate-column Arrow result fix.
Wheel/sdist builds and lock consistency pass. All 31 code-quality CI jobs pass, including unit, PyArrow, real-kernel, lint, and type checks across Python 3.10–3.14. Live unit/E2E coverage passes with 1,603 tests and 89.62% coverage; all 15 DBR LTS installation combinations pass across 13.3–17.3.
SEA and both Thrift multi-DBR suites pass on DBR 18.3.10 with the LCO fixture correction in universe #2882842. UC SEA multi-DBR is disabled upstream. Local unit installation was blocked by the approved proxy; CI used matching prewarmed environments with the upgraded dependencies.
Release review: Dependabot #42 remains open for cryptography 49.0.0 through the optional Kerberos extra (fixed in 50.0.0); this release does not upgrade it.
