Description

Quick agent redesign of the 404 page that adds suggested pages based on the broken URL.

• Suggestions come from the search_docker_docs tool on Gordon's MCP endpoint (https://ai-backend-service.docker.com/mcp). This replaces the earlier proof of concept in poc 404 redesign #25055, which scraped the sources out of Gordon's chat response.
• The page turns the broken path into a query, such as Docker documentation: compose compose file 05 services, and shows up to 5 deduplicated results. If the call fails or returns nothing, it shows a fallback message that points to Gordon.
• Links are rewritten to the current origin, so they also work locally.
• The endpoint URL is a new docsSearchURL param in hugo.yaml. It always points at production because the stage backend has no /mcp route.
• Removed the homepage link and image, since the navigation is on the page. Kept the "Ask Gordon" button and the "Create an issue" link, and the page text now suggests filing an issue when the link came from a Docker product.

The suggested pages don't load in the deploy preview, so you'll see the "No suggestions found" message there. The search API only accepts browser requests from an exact allowlist of origins, and Netlify preview URLs aren't on it, so it returns a 403. docs.docker.com and localhost are on the list, so the feature should work in production. Reviewers can pull the branch and run it locally to try it.

Search quality has limits. When I tried a non-existent page with machine in the URL, the suggestions didn't include the deprecated page that mentions Docker Machine. The search matches the query against summaries of whole pages, and Docker Machine is only a short section on the general retired products page, so that page's summary probably doesn't surface it. A few words from a broken URL aren't a typical question for this tool, so it is what it is.
