What changed upstream

Commits in github-samples/copilot-workshops@main (up to 3fe9e9c):

  • #200: new First steps app lesson 12 "Deploy the site with GitHub Pages"; the review lesson is renumbered to 13; lessons 3 and 11 and the overview are updated; new first-steps-app-pages-deploy.svg; updated project/usage detail SVGs.
  • #205: usage-details illustration and lesson 3 text updated (microphone placement).
  • #201: Korean localization, including ko-kr lesson 12 (deploy pages).

What was updated locally

Under website/src/content/docs/ (English plus es-es, ja-jp, ko-kr, pt-br, zh-cn, in each learning-hub/copilot-workshops/first-steps/copilot-app/):

  • index.md: overview, lesson table and links for lessons 12 and 13.
  • 3-inspect-and-test.md and 11-canvas.md: updated content.
  • 12-review.md → 13-review.md: renamed and updated.
  • 12-deploy-pages.md: new in English and ko-kr. The other locales have no upstream translation yet, so Astro falls back to English.

Assets in website/public/images/learning-hub/copilot-workshops/:

  • Added first-steps-app-pages-deploy.svg.
  • Updated first-steps-app-project-details.svg and first-steps-app-usage-details.svg.

Deferred

Upstream changes to the real-world CLI, VS Code and cloud harnesses, and the ko-kr real-world localization (about 40 files), are not included. They are left for the next run, and last_synced_sha was not advanced.

npm run website:build was not run in this environment.

Warning

Firewall blocked 2 domains

The following domains were blocked by the firewall during workflow execution:

  • api.github.com
  • raw.githubusercontent.com

[!TIP]
api.github.com is blocked because GitHub API access uses the built-in GitHub tools by default. Instead of adding api.github.com to network.allowed, use tools.github.mode: gh-proxy for direct pre-authenticated GitHub CLI access without requiring network access to api.github.com:

tools:
  github:
    mode: gh-proxy

See GitHub Tools for more information on gh-proxy mode.

To allow these domains, add them to the network.allowed list in your workflow frontmatter:

network:
  allowed:
    - defaults
    - "api.github.com"
    - "raw.githubusercontent.com"

See Network Configuration for more information.
