Summary of Changes

The Tests workflow currently fails on every PR for three reasons unrelated to the PR's code. This fixes all three. CI and test dependencies only, no library changes.

• macOS, Coveralls step: bump coverallsapp/github-action from 2.3.7 to 2.3.8, still pinned by commit SHA. 2.3.7 runs brew tap and then brew install coveralls, which Homebrew 6 refuses:

  2.3.8 installs the fully qualified formula instead (Fix macOS install for Homebrew 6.0.0 tap trust requirement coverallsapp/github-action#265).
• pypy310, dependency install: cap hypothesis<6.156 for PyPy < 3.11 only. Starting with 6.156.1, hypothesis ships a Rust extension built with PyO3 0.29 and has no PyPy 3.10 wheels, so uv builds the sdist, which fails:

  error: the configured PyPy interpreter version (3.10) is lower than PyO3's minimum supported version (3.11)
  

  6.155.7 is the last pure-Python release. Every other interpreter still gets hypothesis==6.*.
• Ubuntu, Setup SocketCAN: ubuntu-latest now runs Ubuntu 26.04, which has no linux-modules-extra package for the running kernel. vcan is part of linux-modules there:

  The step now runs apt-get update and installs linux-modules-extra only when modinfo vcan fails, so it keeps working on 24.04.

Related Issues / Pull Requests

• Related to Replaced select.select() with select.epoll() in SocketcanBus #2056 and Speed up socketcan capture_message by ~32% #2097, which are currently red for these reasons.
• Related to fix: optimize CAN receive timeout timing with perf_counter #2089, which contains a similar Coveralls bump and hypothesis pin as part of an unrelated change. This PR only touches CI, so it can be merged on its own.

Additional Notes

• Locally, tox -e pypy310 installs the dependencies again (hypothesis 6.155.7).
• The alternative to the hypothesis cap is to drop pypy310 from the matrix. I left that decision to you.
