LGTM. This is a dev-only bump of pre-commit from 3.8.0 to 4.7.0, and pyproject.toml and uv.lock agree.
What was reviewed:
- The
pre-commitspecifier changes to>=3.2.2,<5in both pyproject.toml and the uv.lock dev metadata. The locked package entry moves to 4.7.0 with new sdist and wheel entries, and its dependency list is unchanged. - I checked .pre-commit-config.yaml for things pre-commit 4 removed. There are no deprecated
stagesnames and nopython_venv. The local hooks uselanguage: system, and the uv-lock hook comes from an external repo.

The change touches only the dev dependency group in pyproject.toml and the matching pre-commit entry in uv.lock. No runtime or library code changes, and nothing security-sensitive is involved. The repo's pre-commit config uses no settings that pre-commit 4 removed, and the project's requires-python of >=3.11 is compatible with pre-commit 4.x. CODEOWNERS covers only .github/, so neither changed file has an owner, and the PR has no other reviewer comments or objections.
