It's probably needless for fast generations and will just slow the things down, I'll turn it off if it takes less than 10 seconds. |

604-605: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winGive the new progress state internal linkage.
hide_annotandpassed_timeare mutable globals with external linkage and generic names. Another translation unit that defines the same symbol causes a link error or a silent ODR violation. The file already usesstaticforsd_progress_cb, so apply the same convention here. Also,pretty_progressmutates this state without synchronization. Concurrent callers would race on it.Proposed fix

I'd suggest hiding by elapsed, not estimate time, because an estimate can oscillate around the threshold (fairly common when using a cache mode).
Or just make it sticky: once it crosses the threshold, it is always shown.
By the way: another thing I've considered implementing would be removing the progress bar entirely if the whole operation stays under a threshold (say, 1s). Could be helpful for cleaning up e.g. LoRA loading.

@wbruna, the idea was to roughly estimate the duration at the very start.
It will not oscillate because it's measured only once, when hide_annot == -1.
After that it is set to either 0 or 1 and will not be touched anymore in same bar.
Regarding LoRAs, I'd prefer to leave it on because it easier to find the bar and to confirm that the LoRA was correctly identified in prompt and loaded.

🟠 Major · Clamp current before constructing the progress bar. · util.cpp:563-566
src/core/util.cpp:563-566
🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick winClamp
currentbefore constructing the progress bar.Circular tiling can report
step > steps. The new empty-annotation branch then passes a negative count tostd::string, which converts it to a very large size and can throw during generation. The base implementation used a fixed loop and did not have this failure. Clamp the computed position to the bar range.Suggested fix
if (steps > 0) { current = (int32_t)(step * 1.f * max_progress / steps); } + current = std::max<int32_t>(0, std::min<int32_t>(max_progress, current));🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

🟡 Minor · Reset ETA state at the sampling boundary without emitting a callback. · util.cpp:609-616
src/core/util.cpp:609-616
🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick winReset ETA state at the sampling boundary without emitting a callback.
When no progress callback is installed, a skipped first Euler step can bypass
pretty_progress(0, ...). The next sampling run can then reusehide_annotandpassed_timefrom the previous run. Keep callback dispatch unchanged. An unconditionalpretty_progress(0, ...)would add an observable callback event. Keep the existinglast_progress_usinitialization and update unchanged.Suggested fix

Summary
Display remaining time in progress bar.
If someone would want to detect the counter, 2 "==" marks are left at the beginning of the bar, if progress is >= 4 percents.
