| #This, and all docs, have 1 a11y issue attached to the Get Started signup link on the bottom of every page. I'll need to look into putting hovertext on that to solve it I think. |

Act on this and then delete the text from the metadata

This doc has over 50 color contrast violations, making it a good test for (after we change the core code and colors text renders in) checking the overall state of the site's text.

Pausing work on this today, but I scanned all the following:
I'll resume my scans with Start with Maia, but at this point I think I have a good overview of the main a11y problems and this project could probably move forward with just LLM-assisted mass commits fixing missing alt text, as well me and a stack TWer directly addressing all the core html/css issues that flag a117 issues (text color, scrollable tables, and the other website code-dependant things I noted in my comments). |
| * Due to licensing issues, we no longer distribute the SAP HANA JDBC driver with the Mendix runtime. If you want to run an app with a SAP HANA database, see [SAP HANA](/refguide/saphana/). | ||
| * We now automatically convert remaining long-lived browser sessions in offline-first web apps to [authentication tokens](/refguide/session-management/) when session data is refreshed. End-users do not have to sign in again during the conversion. | ||
| {{% alert color="info" %}}Authentication tokens have a default validity of one year, compared with the previous long-lived session timeout of seven days of inactivity, so users may remain signed in for longer. `LongLivedSessionTimeout` no longer applies to converted sessions, so if your app relies on the previous default or a custom `LongLivedSessionTimeout`, review and configure [com.mendix.webui.AuthTokenTimeout](/refguide/custom-settings/#commendixwebuiAuthTokenTimeout). Remember that this is specified in minutes, rather than milliseconds.{{% /alert %}} | ||

In conjunction with Hedwig's work (see TW-2841) improving our site's screen reader compatibility, I'm going down all the docs and fixing the last a11y flags that AxeDevtools indicates to us. From what I'm seeing now, most of my fixes should be mostly screen reader text for images, and hover text for links.
Basic project steps:
