- Line 65: In switch_variant, replace the narrowing `id as i32` conversion with
a checked `i32::try_from(id)` before calling
`CoreRepository::find_by_id_with_portable`; reject IDs outside the i32 range
instead of allowing them to select a different row.

What it does
soar useswitches by row id.switch_variantused to take a position in a list it queried a second time, so it could pick a different package if the rows changed in between. It now takes the variant's row id.list_variantsalso leaves out installs that never finished. Before this, the list offered such a row, and picking it failed after every real variant had already been unlinked. The half-finished install was left marked active and the user had no working variant. When only one variant is installed and it is unlinked,soar usenow links it again instead of returning early. An id that does not fit the database's row id type is rejected instead of wrapping around to another row.Broken symlink cleanup only removes links whose target is gone. A link counted as broken whenever
exists()was false, which includes a target that is merely unreadable. Now a link is broken only when reading its target fails with "not found" or "not a directory", and each link is checked again right before removal.soar clean --broken-symlinksnow uses this same code in soar-operations, whichsoar healthalready used. Before,soar cleanran an older copy in soar-core that also failed with "not a directory" when the desktop or icons directory did not exist. That copy is removed.ghcr.io/is recognised in any letter case.is_ghcracceptedGhcr.io/..., butfrom_ghcronly strippedghcr.io/orGHCR.IO/, so a mixed-case reference installed with a family likeGhcr.io.pkgforge.soar. The stored reference now always starts with a lowercaseghcr.io/.extract_rootandnested_extractreject..components, not the substring. Names likefoo..barare valid and were refused.Also fixes a rustdoc error from #227: a public doc comment linked to the private
