Upcoming API changes to pvlib.iotools.solcast functions #2928
Description
The APIs being used by the pvlib iotools functions that fetch data from solcast are changing.
The info is detailed further in a service email from 2026-10-27.
@lorenzo-solcast are you able to make a PR to address and test these changes?

Hi Adam, thanks for bringing this up.
The changes are backwards compatible and will need no changes to this module. But I have taken a look to make sure and have a draft PR which handles the timestamp explicitly and also adds tests for the
air_tempdtype change. Let me know if you'd like to proceed with the PR and I will finalize the changes.
