The release checklist points to tap/init.py, but the version is stored in src/tap/init.py. Correct the path, add an unreleased documentation note, and add my existing contributor identity to AUTHORS.

Verified the version file against pyproject.toml and built the full documentation using the locked development environment. Both baseline and updated Sphinx builds complete with the same existing missing-include warning in producers.rst. No release commands were executed.
