[Low impact] The PR appears safe to merge; no blocking issues were found. SummaryAdds bounded descriptions of unsupported Fireflies responses before the existing rejection.
The earlier test-coverage finding is addressed: tests now require useful metadata while checking rejection, redaction, and bounded output. No new actionable issues were found. Tests were not run during this review. Reviews (2) · Last reviewed commit: "fix(search): retain bounded provider dia..." · Reviewed by Greptile |

@waleedlatif1 I have started the AI code review. It will take a few minutes to complete. |
A successful Fireflies MCP call can return a transcript-list envelope that Search rejects. Existing provider timings identify the failure stage but cannot distinguish the rejected container or encoding.
Log a bounded description immediately before the existing rejection: types under fixed envelope keys, known nested containers, and text length/encoding. Keep WARN diagnostics enabled in production and skip text inspection above 65,536 characters. Provider content, arbitrary keys, query text, credentials, and JSON parse errors never enter the diagnostic. Request parameters, accepted formats, results, and failure behavior remain unchanged. This supplies evidence for the investigation; it does not fix the unknown provider response format.
Validation: lint, all 29 workspace type checks, all 62 audits, generated artifacts, and the block-registry check passed. Independent cleanup/safety review is clean. The privacy guard was written before implementation and failed as intended in CI run 41146215188: rejection remained intact but no diagnostic was emitted. Coverage now checks useful metadata and redaction for text, JSON, fenced JSON, and oversized text. The additional test-only CI control passed text/JSON/fenced-JSON coverage and failed only the oversized case before its inspection cap was added. All 39 jobs in final CI passed on reviewed head 4fb0ae6, including unit/type, build, integration, desktop, mobile, and browser-extension checks. Both reviewers returned 5/5 with zero unresolved threads. Tests ran in CI, not locally.
